Therefore I decided to write my own opinion and experiences about this topic. The basic of the misunderstanding is, that everybody want to find an "untapped market".
First of all, an untapped market is not always a good solution, because your main goal has to be to create profit from it. So it's possible that you find a very interesting topic with a high demand, but if nobody wants to give money for the information, you won't be able to convert your traffic into cash. Therefore, it's not necessary to find markets without any competition. If there are some pay-per-click ads for a specific keyword, it can show you, that there is probably money in that market. Of course don't start with high competitive markets like gambling, weight loss, etc., because it's almost impossible to receive good rankings in the search engine listings. You should find the balance. This means, you should look for low-middle competitive markets and try to be the best for it's popular keywords.
It's the same thing with pay-per-click campaigns. Popular products brought me personally more money than niche or sub niche products, where I only had a few thousands searches a week.
The success formula again:
- choose a low-mid competitive market
- work hard
- be the best in your market
- collect the money
